Macbuntu is a SourceForge project that transforms the look and feel of Linux operating systems to that similar to Mac OS X. Macbuntu is an open source program, designed to transform Linux’s appearance and layout into a Mac OS X environment. Although Macbuntu is dedicated to Ubuntu Linux OS, it could be used in other OS based on Debian/GTK. The script significantly changes the desktop.

Installing Macbuntu

Step 1. Download Macbuntu from here according to your Ubuntu Version.

Step 2. Extract it

$ tar -xvzf Macbuntu-10.04.tar.gz

Step 3. Go to Macbuntu directory

$ cd Macbuntu-10.04

Step 4.Install it

$ ./install.sh

Step 5. To uninstall Macbuntu

$ ./uninstall.sh

That's it.
