Mozilla Thunderbird is a free, open source, cross-platform email and news client developed by the Mozilla Foundation.
To install Mozilla Thunderbird 17 in Ubuntu open terminal (Alt + Ctrl + t) and type following commands
Step 1: Add Thunderbird Repository
Step 2: Update sources.list
Step 3: Install Thunderbird 17
That's it , you have successfully installed Thunderbird 17. To check Thunderbird version, type following command in terminal
