Touchpad-Indicator is a small Linux utility for Ubuntu and Linux Mint which allows you to Enable or disable your touchpad while typing or when you are using external mouse.
To install Touchpad-Indicator in Ubuntu and Linux Mint, open terminal (Alt + Ctrl + t) and follow these simple steps
Step 1: Add Touchpad-Indicator Repository
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:atareao/atareao
Step 2: Update sources.list
$ sudo apt-get update
Step 3: Install Touchpad-Indicator
$ sudo apt-get install touchpad-indicator
To open Touchpad-Indicator go to Dash->search touchpad-indicator,and open it you will see Touchpad-indicator icon on top (if you are using Unity) and at bottom (if you are using Gnome 3).
Touchpad-Indicator provides different options to customize it according to your need.
