How to Install GNOME3 in Ubuntu 12.04/11.10

There are many desktop Environment out there in Market like Unity , KDE , Mate etc. GNOME 3 is one of the desktop environment developed by the GNOME community, a diverse, international group of contributors that is supported by an independent, non-profit foundation.

To install GNOME3 in Ubuntu 12.04 (Precise Pangolin)/11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot) , open terminal and write following commands

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install gnome-shell

Reboot your system and choose GNOME3 as your desktop environment. Enjoy it :)
